I learned Japanese calligraphy for about 10 years from age 10.
I usually provide Japanese calligraphy class for foreign customers at the Japanese kaiseki cuisine restaurant “Tsutsumi“ where my husband is an owner and chef of.(We provide set plan of kaiseki cuisine lunch and lesson of Japanese calligraphy.) I would like foreign customers to understand and like Japan more through the experience of Japanese calligraphy. I’ll teach you simply and clearly.

Tea Ceremony (Urasenke-style) Workshop

Make "Matcha" (powdered green tea) by yourself and enjoy it with Japanese traditional sweets. "Urasenke" is one of the many schools of tea ceremony in Japan.

Gold Lacquer (Makie) on Wine Glass Workshop

"Makie" (Japanese lacquer sprinkled with gold or silver powder) is a technique of Japanese lacquer art. "Makieshi" (gold lacquer master) will carefully teach you how to paint on a wine glass.
