Hotel Intergate Hiroshima
We offer two routes that highlight Hiroshima’s resilient history and recovery: “(A) Hiroshima Castle Ruins Exploration,” which traces the castle’s stone walls and the main keep—rebuilt in reinforced concrete 13 years after its destruction in the 1945 atomic bombing—and “(B) From the Atomic Bomb Dome to the Present: Hiroshima City Walk,” which journeys from the Atomic Bomb Dome, a symbol of prayers for peace, to the vibrant cityscapes of today. Through these journeys, we share the story of Hiroshima’s powerful progress and its path toward reconstruction.

We offer three distinct routes, each highlighting different charms of the city. Our regularly scheduled “(A) Bukeyashiki (samurai residence) course” explores the Nagamachi Samurai District, where traditional earthen walls and cobblestone lanes are lined with former samurai residences, offering a glimpse into the life of the samurai during the Edo period.
On the 2nd Sunday of each month, the “(B) Art and History course” tour guides you through historic landmarks, including the National Crafts Museum and the Ishikawa Prefectural Museum of History, which is designated as an Important Cultural Property of Japan.
On the 4th Sunday, we offer the “(C) Kanazawa Castle Park course,” where we share the stories of Kanazawa’s history and traditions through its most iconic sights, such as Kanazawa Castle Park and Oyama Jinja Shrine.
*Please note that “(B) Art and History course” and “(C) Kanazawa Castle Park course” are each held once a month.
