Hotel Intergate Hiroshima is pleased to offer a “Guided Walking Tour.” Enjoy a morning stroll through the city while the guide shares insights into the history and culture of the local architecture.

We offer two different courses for this tour, with the itinerary changing depending on the date to showcase the unique charm of each route.
The “Hiroshima Castle Course,” held on the second Sunday of each month, traces the castle’s stone walls and main keep. The guide will share stories of history and reconstruction among the harmony of cobblestone paths and beautiful greenery. Join us for a refreshing morning walk as we touch upon the origins of the castle town of Hiroshima.
On the fourth Sunday of each month, the “From the Atomic Bomb Dome to the Present: Hiroshima City Walk” traces the path from the Atomic Bomb Dome—a symbol of prayers for peace—through areas lined with historic buildings to the vibrant streets of today. We will share the story of Hiroshima’s powerful journey and its path to reconstruction while touching upon narratives passed down through generations.

Itinerary: O-torii, Remains of Ura-Gomon Gate & Stone Walls, Remains of East Small Castle Tower, Castle Tower, South Castle Tower, Upper Level of Honmaru & Former Imperial Headquarters, Sakura Pond Remains & Lower Honmaru, Hiroshima Gokoku Shrine, and Ninomaru

(B) From the Atomic Bomb Dome to the Present: Hiroshima City Walk
Dates: 4th Sundays of each month
April 26, May 24, June 28, July 26, August 23, September 27,2026
Departure Time: 7:00 AM (Approximately 60 minutes)
Itinerary: Atomic Bomb Dome, Shima Hospital, Former Bank of Japan Hiroshima Branch, and Hiroshima Andersen

Notes:
* Priority is given to those with reservations. Each tour is limited to the first 10 participants.
* The tour may be canceled in the event of inclement weather.
