Making a mini notebook using Otake washi paper and old fabrics
Guests can enjoy making palm-sized notebooks using Otake washi paper, which has flourished for 400 years since the Edo period, together with old kimono fabric.
You can feel the texture of Japanese handmade washi as you make your own notebook using washi paper made in Otake, the only town in Hiroshima Prefecture where the tradition of handmade washi is still alive, together with silk fabric that was once used as a kimono.
