Experience the charms of the area!
Guided Walking Tour -Feel the History and Culture of Kanazawa-
2nd and 4th Sundays of every month from Sunday, March 23 to Sunday, June 22
We have started “Guided Walking Tour,” visiting Nagamachi Bukeyashiki (Samurai Residence), Ishikawa Prefectural Museum of History and so on. This time, we have prepared a three tours, adding two new courses to the “Bukeyashiki (samurai residence) course” that was very popular last year.
The regular “Bukeyashiki (samurai residence) course” is a tour of the Nagamachi Bukeyashiki, where samurai residences line the old dirt walls and cobblestone alleys, revealing the samurai life of the Edo period.
The “Art and History course” on the second Sunday of every month will take you on a tour of historical buildings such as the National Crafts Museum and the Ishikawa Prefectural Museum of History, which is designated as a National Important Cultural Property.
On the fourth Sunday of every month, the “Kanazawa Castle Park course” will take you through Kanazawa’s famous sightseeing spots such as Kanazawa Castle Park and Oyama Shrine, explaining the charm of Kanazawa, where the history and tradition are alive.
Please enjoy the guided tour to experience the history and culture of Kaga (the old name of Kanazawa) as one of the ways to make memories of your trip.
