Guided Walking Tour -Feel the History and Culture of Kanazawa-
Dates: 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month
We are hosting “Guided Walking Tours” that explore the Nagamachi Samurai District, the Ishikawa Prefectural Museum of History, and other local landmarks.
The regularly scheduled “Bukeyashiki (samurai residence) Course” explores the Nagamachi Samurai District, where traditional earthen walls and cobblestone lanes are lined with former samurai residences, offering a glimpse into the life of the samurai during the Edo period.
On the 2nd Sunday of each month, the “Art and History Course” tour guides you through historic landmarks, including the National Crafts Museum and the Ishikawa Prefectural Museum of History, which is designated as an Important Cultural Property of Japan.
On the 4th Sunday, the “Kanazawa Castle Park Course” features iconic sights such as Kanazawa Castle Park and Oyama Jinja Shrine, where the guides will share the stories of Kanazawa’s rich history and traditions.
We invite you to enjoy this “Guided Walking Tour” as a special part of your travel memories, immersing yourself in the rich history and culture of Kaga Hyakumangoku, Kanazawa.

Itinerary: Oyama Shrine, Nezumitamon Gate, Gyokusen’in Maru Garden, Ninomaru Park, Gokuraku Bridge, Sanjukken Nagaya
