In this event, we produce a dance performance by Maiko wearing some items designated as traditional industry products by Kyoto city in the lights of traditional Japanese candles.
You will enjoy a dance performance by Maiko with the makeup that make them look the most beautiful in the warm light of Japanese candles. Also, you will experience Ozashiki Asobi (traditional games), and have the chance to take a photo with Maiko.

Furthermore, we will present an INTERGATE HOTELS original OFUKI (smartphone cleaning cloth), made by Kyo-yuzen hand dying method, to all participants. An illustration of a beautiful Maiko in one of the four seasons is printed on it.

　
*Based on the Kyoto City Ordinance for Promotion of Revitalization of Traditional Industries, Kyoto City has designated 74 items as Kyoto City’s traditional industries in response to a report from the Kyoto City Council for Promotion of Revitalization of Traditional Industries. In this traditional industries and cultural experiences, “various ornaments worn by maiko, such as Nishijin-ori and Kyo-yuzen” and “Japanese Candles” are designated as traditional industries by Kyoto City.
