A professor of Urasenke will give a guest lecture on the history and etiquette of tea ceremony, followed by a matcha tasting and making experience. The lecture is beginner-friendly; English is available for international guests.

Learn about the background of Japanese tea ceremony, followed with a sampling of freshly whisked matcha with sweets from the old-time Japanese confectionery shop Tawaraya Yoshitomi (founded in 1755).
