"Tsumami zaiku" Kanzashi Hair Ornament & Keyholder Traditional Craft Workshop

We will be hosting a special workshop where you can make your own original kanzashi (Japanese hair ornament) or keyholder using Tsumami-zaiku pieces. Tsumami-zaiku is a traditional Japanese craft for creating fabric art by pinching and folding small pieces of cloth with tweezers. 

You can make your own custom kanzashi hair ornament or keyholder with premade irohana (“colored flowers”) by Kyoto handicraft manufacturer Takagi-Seni Co., Ltd. Choose from a variety of patterns to create your own original work!

This in-house workshop is perfect for that spare moment in your Kyoto journey.
