Special Event: Kyoto Splendor with Geiko

Date & Time: February 28 (Sat), 2026 | 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

To celebrate our 8th anniversary on March 1st, we will host a special cultural event on February 28 (Sat), 2026. This “Kyoto Splendor with Geiko” event offers a unique opportunity to experience Kyoto’s traditional culture, including a mystical dance performance by geiko under the soft glow of Japanese candles.

For this occasion, we are honored to welcome geiko from Pontocho, one of Kyoto’s five renowned geiko districts. The evening features a diverse program, from elegant dances performed in a traditional candlelit setting to “Ozashiki-asobi” (traditional parlor games) usually reserved for private sessions, and a commemorative photo session with the geiko. We will also serve complimentary sake from the historic Kitagawa Honke brewery in Fushimi, Kyoto, offering a night to savor the harmony of Kyoto’s traditions and fine sake.

We invite you to take this opportunity to rediscover the profound charm of Kyoto at Hotel Intergate Kyoto Shijo Shinmachi.
