For this time, we are pleased to offer Ice Candy (ice pop) from HORAI Co., Ltd.
Made with the unchanged recipe since 1954, 551 HORAI’s beloved Ice Candy is famous for its classic nostalgia, subtle sweetness, and refreshing taste. For our welcome treat, guests can enjoy a selection of seven flavors, including six classic favorites and a seasonal plum flavor.
On August 17 (Mon), we are pleased to welcome a representative from HORAI Co., Ltd. Guests will have an exclusive opportunity to learn more about 551 HORAI’s signature pork buns, Ice Candy, and the story behind their products.

551 HORAI Ice Candy was introduced in 1954 to help people beat the humid heat of Osaka summers. Even today, it is made using the exact same recipe as when it was first created.
For this event, we are offering the complete lineup of six standard flavors (Milk, Azuki (red beans), Chocolate, Matcha (green tea), Mixed Fruits, and Pineapple) alongside the seasonal Plum flavor. Find your favorite flavor and enjoy a refreshing taste of summer.

Founded in 1945 as Horai Shokudo in Namba, Osaka, HORAI Co., Ltd. is famously known for its iconic Kansai TV commercial tagline: “When it’s here! (Laughter) When it’s not… (Sorrowful expression).” Since its debut in 1946, 551 HORAI’s pork buns have become a staple Osaka souvenir. They have made this popular product without any preservatives, using their original recipe and in-house production methods to deliver fresh deliciousness every day.
