What is Paper Craft Band?
Paper Craft Band (also known as paper band) is a type of ribbon made by twisting and flattening paper to create strips, and it is said to have originated in Japan. Initially used for sealing the rice bags, it later evolved into a material for handicrafts. Made from environmentally friendly materials such as recycled paper from milk cartons, craft bands are durable yet flexible, and can be used in a variety of weaving techniques. The paper craft bands used in this workshop are all made from domestic recycled paper, offering both sustainability and versatility.
